The hydrotherapy treatments available in the centres include:

Fine mist shower

Definition: Manual massage under fine jets of seawater which rain down on the body.

Benefits: An extremely relaxing treatment with a triple-action massage: fine jets of seawater that aid muscle relaxation; seawater vapour that has a soothing power (thermal effect) and acts as a local aerosol; and a massage that soothes the muscles and induces relaxation.
Duration: 20 minutes

 

Scotch hose

Definition: Massage from a distance with the aid of a jet of pressurised seawater.
Benefits: This treatment stimulates blood circulation, tones the skin and relaxes the muscles. It also acts on the energy system as the hose is directed at the acupuncture meridians. It is one of the best treatments for cellulite.

Duration: 10 minutes

 

Hydro massage bath

Definition: Seawater bath at a temperature of 34-38° C enriched with seaweed extracts (seaweed serum) and essential oils in which the body is massaged by cycles of jets that start at the feet and work their way up the body to the neck.
Benefits: This treatment has a soothing, relaxing and regenerating effect. The seawater has a demineralising action and the air bubbles help to relax the whole body. The heat induces muscle relaxation and encourages the skin’s absorption of mineral salts and trace elements while the jet massage stimulates circulation and drainage.
Duration: 20 minutes

Underwater shower

Definition: A seawater bath with jets that massage the whole body and finishes with an underwater massage with the aid of a manual jet.
Benefits: This treatment combines the benefits of a seawater bath (relaxing and regenerating effect) and massage (relaxing, stimulates circulation and drainage). It induces muscle relaxation, improves circulation and has a toning effect. It is also a treatment for cellulite.
Duration: 20 minutes

Footbath or phlebotone

Definition: Hydromassage with repeated alternating hot (5 minutes) and cold (3 minutes) baths.

Benefits: This treatment stimulates blood circulation in the feet and has a toning effect on the skin. It soothes and relieves heavy legs, inducing an invigorating feeling and sensation of lightness.
Duration: 20 minutes

 

Hammam

Definition: Steam bath in a room with a temperature between 40° C and 50° C and a humidity of 90%.
Benefits: The hammam induces the body to sweat at the same time as hydrating it. Intense sweating encourages the elimination of toxins. You can also have a gommage to eliminate dead skin cells which facilitate cellular renewal.
Duration: 30 minutes

Sauna

Definition: Hot and cold bath taken in a wood cabin. The temperature can reach up to 80°C.
Benefits: Stimulates sweating and under-skin blood circulation thus encouraging the elimination of waste and toxins.

Seaweed body wrap

Definition: Application of a warm seaweed paste over the whole body. The treatment is given in a hammam, thalotherm or under a heated blanket so the heat opens up the skin’s pores thus reinforcing penetration of the marine elements.
Benefits: The treatment has a remineralising effect (seaweed is rich in mineral salts, trace elements and vitamins), regenerates the body, softens the skin, has an analgesic action and encourages slimming by inducing the elimination of toxins. While recommended for fatigue, the treatment can also benefit those suffering from arthrosis or rheumatism.
Duration: 20 minutes

Sea mud body wrap

Benefits: The treatment stimulates blood circulation in the lower limbs. It soothes and relieves tired legs, inducing an invigorating feeling and sensation of lightness. It is recommended for heavy legs and poor circulation.
Duration: 20 minutes

Cavitosonic chamber

Definition: A fine seawater spray combined with a Woods light which provokes a negative charge of ions.
Benefits: The treatment serves to clear, drain and opens up the respiratory tract and congested cavities. Its effects are increased through the use of essential oil of eucalyptus. It is recommended for respiratory problems (asthma, allergies, bronchitis and sinusitis) and helps those quitting smoking.
Duration: 20 minutes

Individual aerosol

Definition: Inhalation through an individual mask of micro fine spray of seawater combined with specific essential oils indicated for each treatment.
Benefits: The treatment serves to clear, drain and opens up the respiratory tract and congested cavities. Its effects are increased through the use of essential oil of eucalyptus. Aqua trail / Marine trail

Definition: An aquatic labyrinth in a seawater pool heated to 32°C with different pool massage zones and equipment (massage seats, Jacuzzis, under and above water jets for the legs, thighs, buttocks and back, neck and back and soles of the feet).

Benefits: This is the most complete of the hydro massages. It has a soothing, relaxing and regenerating effect while the seawater has a remineralising action. The heat induces muscle relaxation and improves absorption of mineral salts and trace elements through the skin while the massage jets stimulate circulation and drainage. It is recommended as the basis for all the cures.
Duration: 30 minutes

 

Phelebologic trail

Definition: This is a trail in a heated seawater pool in which the curist walks in front of a series of jets at a temperature of between 14° C and 16° C directed at the legs and calves.
Benefits: As a result of the successive thermal shocks, the treatment serves to stimulate the lower limbs. It soothes and relieves tired legs, inducing an invigorating feeling and sensation of lightness. It is recommended for heavy legs and poor circulation.
Duration: 15 minutes

Rehabilitation in a bio marine pool

Definition: A series of exercises performed in a seawater pool heated to 32° C which serve to correct the body’s posture and unhealthy patterns of movement, teach more appropriate patterns, develop muscle suppleness and gently rehabilitate painful joints.
Benefits: The heat serves to warm and relax the muscles and has a sedative effect on aches and pains. As the body becomes weightless in water, it regains it suppleness making it easier to perform the exercises and to move limbs and joints without becoming tired or feeling pain.
Duration: 30 minutes

Aqua gym / Aqua fitness

Definition: A series of exercises performed in a seawater pool with the purpose of exercising and toning the muscles and redefining the figure.
Benefits: As the body becomes weightless in water, it regains its suppleness making it easier to perform the exercises.
Duration: 30 minutes

Fitness

Definition: Sessions of exercise carried out under the supervision of a trainer which aim to develop muscular strength and suppleness.

Benefits: Improves potential of other treatments.
